These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any services provided by Biohazard Cleaners UK ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
We provide specialist biohazard, trauma, and damage restoration cleaning services across the United Kingdom. Services include but are not limited to: trauma scene cleaning, after death and unattended death cleanup, crime scene cleaning, extreme cleaning, hoarder cleaning, needle sweeps, sewage cleanup, fire and flood damage cleaning, mould removal, odour removal, pigeon guano removal, and nicotine cleaning.
All services are carried out by trained, certified, and insured operatives in compliance with applicable UK health, safety, and environmental legislation including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH), and the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Quotes provided via our website or telephone are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may vary following an on-site assessment if the scope of work differs materially from what was initially described.
A contract for services is formed when we confirm your booking in writing (including by email) and you accept our quote. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
Emergency and same-day callouts are subject to availability. We will confirm availability before your booking is accepted.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment terms will be set out in your written quote or booking confirmation.
For residential clients, payment is typically due on completion of the service. For commercial, insurance, or local authority clients, we may issue invoices with agreed payment terms.
Late payment of invoices may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice for standard bookings, or less than 4 hours' notice for emergency callouts, may be subject to a cancellation charge to cover mobilisation costs.
If you are a consumer contracting for services off-premises or at a distance, you have a right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, except where you have expressly requested services to begin within that 14-day period.
You must ensure we have safe and clear access to the property at the agreed time. You must disclose all known hazards, risks, or relevant information about the property and the contamination before work begins. Failure to do so may affect the service we can provide and may result in additional charges.
You are responsible for ensuring that any animals, vulnerable persons, or unauthorised individuals are not present in the work area during the service.
We carry full public liability insurance. We will use reasonable skill and care in providing our services in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We are not liable for:
Our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you are a consumer, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. We are required to provide our services with reasonable care and skill, in a reasonable time (where no time is agreed), and at a reasonable price (where no price is agreed).
If our service falls short of these standards, you may be entitled to a repeat performance or, where that is not possible, a price reduction. You may have further rights depending on the circumstances.
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us at quotes@biohazardcleaners.uk or call 0333 567 2473. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 business days and resolve them within 14 days.
If we cannot resolve your complaint directly, you may wish to seek independent advice from Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) or refer your dispute to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme.
